Rhyncholaeliocattleya Triumphal Coronation ‘Seto’ HCC/AOS (formerly classified as Brassolaeliocattleya) is a celebrated 1982 Cattleya alliance hybrid created by Stewart Inc., crossing Cattleya Drumbeat with Rhyncholaeliocattleya Pamela Hetherington. The ‘Seto’ clone stands among the finest pink Cattleyas in cultivation, having earned American Orchid Society honors including an HCC/AOS award. True to its name, this hybrid produces enormous, richly fragrant pink blooms exceeding 15-16 cm across, with wrinkled petal edges, a robust sturdy lip showcasing a striking yellow center, and a pleasant spicy scent that carries through the air. As with most Cattleya alliance hybrids, it thrives with bright indirect light (roughly 2,000–3,000 foot-candles), intermediate-to-warm temperatures staying above 60°F at night, and a thorough watering routine that allows the medium to dry between waterings to keep roots healthy.
