Anthurium Dorayaki Silver × Red Tiger (Seedling)

Anthurium ‘Dorayaki Silver’ × ‘Red Tiger’ is an Indonesian cross attributed to breeder Mr. Haji Ulih (HU), pairing two complementary personalities within the collector aroid world: ‘Dorayaki Silver,’ known for its compact, near-circular crystallinum-type leaves with thick, luminescent silver venation, and ‘Red Tiger,’ celebrated for new leaves that unfurl in fiery red and copper before maturing into dark, velvety green with prominent bright venation creating a striking “tiger stripe” contrast. Grown from imported seed in our South Florida greenhouse, this seedling already shows the hallmarks of both parents — bold silvery venation over a deep green lamina, with new growth still flushed in coppery-pink as it hardens off.
