Most collectors favor carlablackiae's typical thin veined, muted form, but this louder veined ecotype has already produced standout hybrids in its own right. The pollen parent, \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s4\"\u003eAnthurium cerrocampanense\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s2\"\u003e, is one of the few waxy leaved members of section Cardiolonchium, native to clay rich terrestrial habitat around Panama's Cerro Campana, known for its round, dinner plate shaped leaves and a fragrant, pollen heavy spadix.
